It’s starting to warm up here in Texas so an ice cold beverage, like this Lime Sherberita, is what I need in my life. I have a lot of family on the east coast and they always ask how we stand the heat down here.
I can tell you that during the day Texans only go where we have to. We stay in the a/c and mainly come out in the evenings.
I’m a hot weather kind of girl, but when it starts getting in the triple digits, I stay indoors as much as possible until the evening and make sure I have plenty of cold drinks and snacks.
Now let’s talk about this these Lime Sherberita’s. This is a great drink to wind down with after a long day.
This drink was made with Bud Light Lime-A-Rita. Have you ever tried it before?
I was skeptical until Charlotte introduced me to them. I am not a beer person and anything Bud Light put me in the mind of beer.
I am not a beer person at all. I finally tried them one day and it was really good.
What I love the most about the Lime-A-Rita is that it’s smooth and not too overbearing. Not to mention, it really tastes like a margarita.
What’s even better is that you don’t have to buy the alcohol or the margarita ingredients separately.
The Bud Light Lime-A-Rita has everything you need in one can! The margarita is light and has a crisp taste that will satisfy your palate.
Before I was introduced to Lime-A-Rita’s, I did not fancy margaritas very much either.
I think it’s because I have always had them with Jose Cuervo tequila and for some reason, me and the brown tequila don’t get along.
So far I haven’t had any issues with this blend so I’m drinking margaritas a little more often these days.
The lime sherbet and lemonade have a nice balance and enhance the flavor of the Lime-A-Rita. I like to add a twist of fresh lime to give the drink an extra burst of flavor, but its an optional garnish.
So I know your thinking, sherbet in a margarita? Yes, yes and yes again! It’s like a margarita punch. The flavors really work well together and the sherbet helps keep the drink super cold.
Add a few sprigs of fresh mint as well. Ya’ll this drink does not disappoint. This beverage will definitely be on the list all spring and summer long!
Until next time, happy sipping!
